Event Description:
The Sedona MTB Festival is 3-day mountain bike festival that will include a Main Expo/Festival, Bike Demos, Shuttled Rides, a Beer Garden, great Bands for (3) nights and a Red Single Track. We are working to make the 2018 Sedona Mountain Bike Festival bigger and better than last year.

The mountain biking in Sedona is world class. Sedona sports over 200 miles of killer singletrack and is an event that has appeared in magazines many times in the last few years.

The trail system within the Red Rock Ranger District of Coconino National Forest around Sedona, AZ is one of the most beautiful trails you’ll find anywhere. This is a trail system shared with hikers and equestrians, and our goal with this festival is to celebrate it appropriately: respect the resource, respect other trail users and generally leave a great impression of the mountain bike community which means NOT leaving our physical impression.

Please, everybody be smart, stay on legal system trails and let’s demonstrate what the mountain bike event and respect for the land is all about!
Day of registration is available all weekend onsite.

Thank you for supporting the event by purchasing a pass in advance, it is people like you that allow us to do more fun things at the event and make things even better.

Event: Sedona Hummingbird Festival

Dates: July 27-29, 2018

Event Description:
The International Hummingbird Society presents the annual celebration of hummingbirds. The event is three days of engaging presentations by nationally recognized hummingbird experts in the fields of science, gardening, rehabilitation, banding, storytelling, and more.

The Sedona Hummingbird Festival is always held around the end of July, when Sedona’s hummingbird population is highest and most diverse. There are 5 or even 6-7 species instead of the usual 2, and with typically five times the number of hummers as in early summer. Thanks to Sedona’s high altitude of 4,500 feet, the intense summer heat is less than in the more southern parts of Arizona.

Festival highlights include Sunrise Hummingbird Breakfasts at known ‘hummingbird hotspots,’ hummingbird garden tours, hummingbird banding demonstrations, and a marketplace for nature/hummingbird-themed merchandise.

Arizona is already well known as a top state for seeing the most hummingbird species. People travel great distances just to see Arizona’s hummers. In addition, Sedona also has Red Rock Country and that makes the experience even more desirable to come to Sedona to see the beautiful hummingbirds.
