Event Description:
A guided nature walk every morning on the dates listed above, with a volunteer naturalist who leads and informs visitors about the different life zones of Red Rock State Park.

The subjects discussed on this walk include wildlife, history, geology and archaeology, and plant life. (The tour guide naturalists welcome questions during the walk.)

No reservations required.

Cost/Admission: Park Entrance Fees:
$7/adult (14+) & $4/child (7-13)

Event:
Wednesday and Saturday Bird Walks
at Red Rock State Park

Dates: 2017
Time: 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM

Event Description:
Bird lovers can join a tour guide naturalist for a guided walk appropriate for beginner and advanced birders. The Audubon Society has designated Red Rock State Park as an Important Birding Area (IBA). This is due to the many species that live or visit here.

Please meet up with the tour guide leader on the
viewing deck above the Visitor Center.

Tours are on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Start time is as follows:
Walk starts at 8am

Please Note: Bring comfortable hiking shoes,
weather-appropriate clothing, plenty of water,
binoculars, and a bird book if you have one.

Event: American Indian Art Show

This event of the American Indian Arts Show,
is the largest indoor American Indian Art Show

in the Sedona/Verde Valley area with over 80 artists
from Hopi,
Navijoland and New Mexico pueblo communities.

Event: Breakfast with Santa

Date: December 2, 2017

Event Description:
You are invited to our Annual Breakfast with Santa Event. Sedona Parks and Recreation is holding this event at the Sedona Hub in Posse Grounds Park. After breakfast, children can enjoy making winter crafts, as well as sitting on Santa’s lap.

This event is free of charge, so come for the pancakes and crafts, and most of all, come to see Santa Claus.

About the Sedona Posse Grounds Hub: This is a flexible affordable performing arts venue, available on a sliding scale rental to any in the community who wish to teach, rehearse, perform, or somehow include/weave the performing arts into their community event.

The Sedona Hub offers a unique backdrop for
creating and sharing live performing arts events.

Event: Red Rock Fantasy at Tlaquepaque

Event Description:
New location but the same great community event
will be held at Tlaquepaque this December.

Enjoy walking through Tinsel Town at this Red Rock Fantasy.

Sedona Parks and Recreations and Sedona Chamber of Commerce have partnered with Tlaquepaque to make this festive event bigger and better than ever.
This beautiful event is FREE to the community.
Stop by from dusk to 9 p.m. nightly.
